2025 Spring Events & Concerts in the Destin Area

Travelers are invited to experience the vibrant springtime festivities in Miramar Beach and Destin, Florida. Throughout April and May, Florida’s picturesque Emerald Coast comes alive with a delightful mix of fine art events, wine festivals, and performances by top artists, and more.

Live Music & Concerts

For live music enthusiasts, Northwest Florida is gearing up for an incredible spring, filled with performances from talented nationally recognized musicians. Moon Crush Concert Series kicks off spring season at Seascape Resort with One Big Holiday featuring My Morning Jacket along with special guests the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Dinosaur Jr and others. On April 10, the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation is bringing The Fabulous Thunderbirds to Destin to kick off the 2025 Concerts in the Village with their iconic blend of blues and rock. Known for hits like Tuff Enuff and Wrap It Up, the Fabulous Thunderbirds will deliver an electrifying performance. The spring concert series continues every Thursday with tribute concerts celebraing Eric Clapton, Amy Winehouse, Jimmy Buffet and Tom Petty, among others. 

The Moon Crush concert series continues, May 1-3, showcasing the talents of the Tedeschi Trucks Band along with special guests Bonnie Raitt and Los Lobos. Closing out the spring concert series, Brandi Carlile will host her Mothership Weekend, May 9-11, featuring an incredible roster of artists such as Alanis Morissette, Madison Cunningham, Joy Oladokun, and Dawes. With such a vibrant array of talent visiting the beach this spring, the 2025 season promises to be a memorable celebration of music by the beach.  

Annual Food & Charity Festivals

Destin offers a vibrant lineup of food festivals and charity events. From April 24th to 27th, the South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival, along with the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, invites wine lovers to savor selections from around the globe while supporting children in need across Northwest Florida. Meanwhile, the Miramar Beach ArtsQuest Fine Art Festival returns to Grand Boulevard, May 3-4, to enchant art lovers with a juried art show, live musical performances and kids’ art workshops. Also in May, the Annual Lionfish Removal and Awareness Festival, May 17 – 18, at HarborWalk Village helps remove an invasive species from Gulf waters while highlighting the culinary talents of local chefs. The two-day outdoor festival is open to the public and includes lionfish tastings, fillet demonstrations, conservation & art booths, an interactive kid’s zone, and more!

Holiday Events

In April, the Easter holiday makes way for festive holiday celebrations. On Easter Sunday, April 20, the Solaris Easter Dinner Cruise launches at 6:30 from the Sandestin Marina and includes a three-course dinner, live music and scenic views while cruising the Choctawhatchee Bay. Also at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort the Easter Brunch and festive egg hunt will be held on the beautiful Grand Lawn from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will enjoy a carefully crafted buffet featuring savory entrées, fresh salads, tempting sides, and a delightful assortment of desserts. Other Easter Brunch celebrations include The Henderson Beach Resort Easter Brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as well as the popular Easter Brunch at Fish Out of Water in WaterColor from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For guests staying at Hidden Dunes Resort, the annual visit by the Easter Bunny and Easter Egg hunt on the beach is a treasured tradition.
