20: 19th Annual Sacred Heart Charity Golf Classic: 8 a.m.
The Sacred Heart Charity Golf Classic is a prestigious event amongst area golfers. Since its inception in 2002, the annual golf classic has raised more than $4 million for Sacred Heart Hospital, supporting a variety of departments. This year’s fundraising will benefit the Comprehensive Spine Program expansion that includes the addition of a 5th operating room and equipment supporting robotic spine surgeries due to the current four operating rooms that are at capacity, night and day, six days a week.

21: International Coastal Cleanup at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park:
9:15-11:30 a.m.
Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park on International
Coastal Cleanup Day for a beach cleanup on Saturday September 21 from 9:15 a.m.
until 11:30 a.m. Help keep the beach safe for the threatened and
endangered species that call the beach home by minimizing the impact of marine
debris on the beach and in the Gulf.

26: Emerald Coast Theatre Company presents The Fantasticks: 7:30 p.m.
The Fantasticks is the longest-running musical in
the world and with good reason: at the heart of its breathtaking poetry is a
purity and simplicity that transcends cultural barriers. The
Fantasticks is a funny and romantic musical about a boy, a girl, and their
two fathers who try to keep them apart. The narrator, El Gallo, asks the
audience to use their imagination and follow him into a world of moonlight and
magic.

27: The Big Give Benefitting CVHN: 6-10 p.m.
This annual event raises money that directly impacts Children’s Volunteer Health Network programs serving children in need. The evening will be filled with live music, dancing, and live and silent auctions. Bud & Alley's will put together a delectable buffet dinner and a cash bar will be available. Grayton Beer Company will host its inaugural Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 12-4 p.m. at our Brewpub located on 30A in Grayton Beach, Florida. The outdoor festival, benefitting Food for Thought Outreach, is the brewery’s nod to the famous 16-day celebration of food and beer indulgence held annually in Munich Germany.

28: Eggs on the Beach: BBQ Competition at Seascape: 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
The sixth annual Big Green Egg Cooking Competition
will be held Sept. 28 at Seascape Resort in Miramar Beach, celebrating the
delicious results of cooking on the Big Green Egg smoker/grill. Cook teams will
be smoking and grilling their favorite dishes while tasters vote for their
favorites. At Eggs on the Beach, participants taste samples from 30 cook teams,
enjoy live music, Knob Creek craft cocktail tasting seminar, ENCO Sports Zone,
charity drawing and more. Proceeds benefit the Fisher House of the Emerald
Coast and Food for Thought.
