Destin Real Estate Market Remains Hot for the Second Quarter of 2019
The Real Estate Team at Newman-Dailey Resort Properties is reporting a "hot" summer for Destin real estate sales. New builds and resales have been keeping our team busy. Along Scenic Highway 30-A, new developments are on the rise and the added inventory has kept condominium and home sales strong. The Destin, Miramar Beach area is experiencing reduced inventory, and therefore, sales have slowed a bit. However, with several new builds on the horizon, we anticipate the volume of sales will begin growing again in the coming months. That said, the number of days listings are on the market before being swooped up by a buyer is still, on average, less than it was during the second quarter of 2018. To keep up with the growth, US Highway 98 widening and improvement project is projected to be completed in 2021 with more lanes and sidewalks.
