Newman-Dailey Real Estate Agent Shannyn Stevenson Competes at USTA Nationals

Newman-Dailey’s real estate team members have a wide variety of talents and interests. In addition to being experts on the Destin real estate market, some love the ballet, some love to fish, some love to serve the community and some love to play sports.

Real Estate Agent Shannyn Stevenson loves tennis and her passion for the sport earned her and her team mates a spot in the 2019 mixed 18 and over sectional championships at the USTA National Campus in Orlando. The two-weekend event hosted 58 teams from across the states competing for the championship title.  After defeating the Edgewater in Okaloosa and Walton Bay Area Mixed 7.0 division playoff, Shannyn's Bluewater Bay team earned a spot at the Sectional Championships and the team finished flight play with a 2-2 record, taking wins over Seminole Lake from Pinellas County and Buttonwood Tennis Club from Stuart, Florida. The team fell to the eventual Sectional Champions from Broward County who won their second title in a row.
