Destin is Open

 The storm has left our area. Today, we're experiencing sunny skies and highs in the low 80's.  

We are aware that the Southeast has experienced some road closures due to the storm. For those traveling to the beach, you may need to identify alternate routes. If you are going to be delayed, please call us at 1-800-225-7652 to make arrangements. Our offices are open 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. 

There was no storm surge and no impact to the Destin or South Walton beaches. We invite you to view Gulf Coast Beach Cams, including cams at local restaurants such as Pompano Joe’s and Back Porch Restaurant, to view LIVE video of our beaches.

Beach service has resumed and beach chairs and umbrellas are set up on South Walton and Destin beaches. 

Due to the fuel demands throughout the Southast, we're told the Gas Buddy App features service stations nationwide along with fuel status and prices. 

Due to the changing winds and currents, we may be at risk for rip currents. It is important to know the current conditions and abide by the Flag Warning System before entering the Gulf of Mexico. 

Our thoughts and prayers go out to our extended family throughout the Southeast that were in Irma's path.
