A Day on 30A with REALTOR Gloria Nobles
There is something special about spending a day along Scenic Highway 30A. Residents and visitors of this special coastal highway find themselves feeling relaxed and inspired. Newman-Dailey real estate team member, REALTOR Gloria Nobles, is fortunate to live along 30A and recently shared how she spends a typical Saturday.
Saturday on 30A
8:00AM
My husband and I and our son and daughter-in-law leave our condo at Sanctuary at Redfish to drive to WaterColor to play tennis with friends. The tennis pro welcomes us and puts us on a court right away.
10:30AM
We head over to Blue Mountain Beach to preview an older beach front home for a client. Next, we stop back by Sanctuary at Redfish and put our car in the garage. We like to bike the paved Timpoochee trail so we grab our bicycles and head out. In between Blue Mountain and Grayton Beach, we stop to preview a brand new Gulf-front home for sale. It’s fit for a King and Queen!
11:30AM
We return to WaterColor for brunch at the Wine Bar. The charcuterie boards are to die for, as is their homemade pizza. We also love that their Happy Hour starts at 11:00 am each day!
1:00 PM
After brunch, we continue east to Seaside to shop. With a variety of boutiques and art galleries, Seaside is great for finding fun one-of-kind jewelry, art and beach attire.
2:00 PM
We start heading back toward Sanctuary at Redfish but first stop in Grayton Beach to enjoy a drink at the iconic Red Bar. There is never a down time at the Red Bar. We ran into friends, which is always fun.
4:30 PM
After seeing more friends, we head back down 30A to Marie’s Bistro in Blue Mountain Beach to participate in their wonderful Happy Hour. Marie makes the best fish tacos and fries and serves them as a Happy Hour item. The rest of the group had sushi, which I hear is delicious.
6:30 PM
We then ride our bikes to Johnny McTighe’s Irish Pub nearby. With $1.00 beer and wonderful pizzas and sandwiches, it’s another great casual option on 30A and features televisions to watch your favorite sports teams.
8:00 PM
We return home to Sanctuary at Redfish and grab the ingredients for S’mores out of the pantry. The fire pit by the pools is the perfect location to relax and enjoy dessert.
8:30 PM
Last but not least, we head to the hot tub just a few steps away, which is wonderful for sore muscles after a day of riding bikes and playing tennis.
9:15 PM
We return to our condo, I change and sat down in the living room to watch T.V. and relax with the family. No one showed up but me! Early to bed, early to rise. We’ll be ready for another fun filled day on 30A.
