Meal Planning

Plan easy to prepare meals that easily feed a group. Or take advantage of the catering menu at area grocery stores including Publix and Whole Foods. Another option is to order family-style meals from local restaurants, including Chipotle, Carraba’s and Zoe’s Kitchen and leave yourself more time for celebrating.

The Cake

A Beach Bonfire

For those staying at vacation rental in Walton County, bonfires are allowed with a permit. You can personally file for a permit within 7 days of your celebration or leave the details to a local professional. A number of companies, including LaDolce Vita and White Diamond Beach Service will host your group for a nominal fee. They handle the permit and provide chairs, bonfire barrel, wood and even bring the sticks, marshmallows and chocolate for smores. 

Group Portrait

To ensure the memories last forever, make sure to plan a group photo on the beach. Celebrants can take pictures with their own camera or cell phone or hire a local photographer who specializes in beach portraits. The joy of a professional is that they know how to ensure everyone in your group is looking at the camera and visible in the picture. After the celebration is over, the photos become a wonderful keepsake for the birthday person and can be framed and sent a special “thank you” for all who attended your beach celebration.
