What’s New in Destin, Florida for 2016
As we kick off the 2016 beach season, many of our guests are asking what’s new in Destin and South Walton this season. Great question! So we’ve polled our team and industry contacts and here’s some of the new things to do in Destin for 2016:
Lulu’s Jelly Jump
Lucy Buffet is always looking for ways to have more fun. We were thrilled when she opened Lulu’s Destin last fall and now she’s adding a new activity. The Jellyfish Jumper is LuLu's Destin newest attraction. Children (and adults) that are over 42 inches and under 250 lbs can enjoy this fun jump experience. (We recommend jumping before drinks and dinner.)
Destination Segway
Enjoy a glide through Destin, Florida and enjoy the sights and sounds of this coastal city aboard a Segway. No pedaling just glide along with your tour guide to Destin points of interest including HarborWalk Village, the original settlement site of Destin, The Destin History and Fishing Museum and Clement Taylor Park with views of Crab Island. Destination Segway tours available for family members age 14+.
Wild Willy’s
Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone is Northwest Florida’s new family entertainment center. Located on Okaloosa Island, Wild Willy’s features 17,000 square feet of air conditioned space, housing a state-of-the-art arcade, a 4D Movie Theater, a Laser Maze, Salvati’s Pizza Factory, and YogoMogo’s Creamy Cool Creations. Outside, Wild Willy’s provides fun and entertainment on two Dinosaur-themed mini golf courses, a-60 foot ropes course, a spinning roller coaster, a reverse bungee trampoline, and remote control battle boats.
