Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Destin on the Emerald Coast

Since Destin gets to enjoy Emerald Green hues throughout the year, visiting the Emerald Coast for St. Patrick’s Day is naturally a great tradition. It is the luckiest time of the year and those who enjoy a much needed getaway to the beach for this festive holiday will be feeling very lucky indeed. 

On Saturday, March 12, join the following South Walton and Destin St. Patrick’s Day festivities:

Irish Street Festival and Grogg March- The Irish Street Festival and Grogg March begins at noon at HarborWalk Village overlooking the Destin Harbor. The adult revelry begins at 5 p.m. with the Pub Crawl.

Annual 30A St. Patrick’s Day Parade - The 9th Annual 30A St Patrick's Day Parade and festival will be held Saturday, March 12 along Scenic Hwy 30A. The St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at 1:00 p.m. east of Redfish Village on Scenic 30A and heads west to Gulf Place. The St. Patrick's Day Festival at Gulf Place (corner of CR 393 and 30A) will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The festivities include Celtic rock bands, food and drink, and activities for the whole family. Proceeds from the event will benefit Fore Her, a local organization supporting women with breast cancer.

McGuire’s Irish Pub - Across the street from HarborWalk Village, McGuire’s Irish Pub is a great place to celebrate St. Patty’s Day with the Irish. Themed after a New York Irish Saloon, McGuire’s is a local landmark with live Irish music and on-site brewery serving a variety of craft beers. DJ kicks off at 8 p.m. (850-650-0000)

Baytowne St. Patrick's Day - Celebrate the luck of the Irish at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will be painted green for this festive St. Patty’s Day celebration. The Blenders will entertain the crowd with modern and classic tunes in the Events Plaza from 6-9pm and you won’t want to miss the Drake Irish Dancers.
