2015 Seaside Half Marathon, Feb. 27-Mar 1

Newman-Dailey Resort Properties is a proud sponsor of the 2015 Seaside Half Marathon & 5K benefiting the Seaside Neighborhood School. Don’t miss the fun at the 13th annual race, which takes place on March 1, 2015. The half marathon begins at 7 a.m. and 5K begins at 7:25 a.m.

On Friday evening, Feb. 27 from 6-8 p.m., join the fun for Taste of the Race, featuring great food from 20 chefs/restaurants, fine wine, craft beer, craft spirits, Coca Cola, and live entertainment by Trick Pony. Taste of the Race features the area’s top chefs and restaurants including Celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse, Chef Jim Shirley of The Bay & Great Southern Café, Chef Jack McGuckin of Bijoux, Chef Jim Richard of Stinky’s Fish Camp, Chef Edward Reese of Edward’s, Chef Dave Bishop at Bud & Alley’s, among many others.

To participate in the race on Sunday, you must register in advance(fee for the Half Marathon is $125; 5K Run is $95 for adults (age 14 and up), and $50 for children) as there is no race day registration. After the race, Seaside will be filled with post-race activities, including vendor booths and the medal presentations. Shops, restaurants and the artists at Ruskin Place will be open and welcoming participants and spectators to enjoy the treasures of Seaside, Florida.
