Destin Surf School-Fun for Kids at the Beach

It’s time to go back to school, so consider adding some hands-on lessons outside of the classroom.  Kids ages 8 and up will love the curriculum at Destin Surf Camp! Located behind Captain Dave’s in Destin, Florida, Ride On Surf School offers daily surf classes from 9 a.m. to noon through the end of the season (Aug. 27).  
 
Students learn how to paddle, stand on the board and ride waves. The class also covers important facts about safety, including undertow, riptides and the flag warning system. They’ll also learn surf etiquette, how to read waves and talk in surf lingo. And the best part, each student receives a bag of goodies, including t-shirt and stickers.
