Veterans Day 2014, Celebrate Our Nation’s Heroes in Destin

The fall is a busy time of year, and if you’re like us, you’re reviewing the calendar looking for an opportunity to take a break. With Veterans Day right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to pause and honor and celebrate the many men and women who have served in the US Armed Forces.  
 
Whether you’re commemorating a family member or honoring a loved one who is no longer with us, there is no better place to celebrate our nation’s heroes than along the sugar white sand beaches of Destin and South Walton. The sound of the waves and coastal breezes provide a tranquil setting to remember those we have lost and spend quality time today with those we love and appreciate. 
 
Veterans Day was originally established as Armistice Day, recognizing those that served in World War I, which formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. Now Veterans Day allows invites us to recognize all of our nation’s heroes.
