Fall Events in Destin - Festival of the Arts, Oct. 26-27
Fall is in the air! Perfect temperatures and spectacular sunsets define the season and the great fall events along the Emerald Coast make Autumn one of the most entertaining times of year.
Next up... the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) will host the 18th Annual Festival of the Arts (formerly Destin Festival of the Arts) on Oct. 26-27, 2013. This is one of the Southeast's premier art festivals featuring more than 100 juried artists, competing for cash prizes.

e're told it is moving to a new location at the recently enhanced Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village, just one mile north of its previous location at Henderson Beach State Park. The new location on the Village Green will be a great setting for the festival and will allow MKAF in partnership with Beach Liquors to offer mimosas, Bloody Marys, wine and beer while guests enjoy the breadth of artistic styles and live music. With a great line-up of talented musicians performing throughout the festival from the Dugas Pavilion, attendees can take a break from meeting exhibiting artists and enjoy live music while dining al fresco.
